Lincolnshire Day Online

Welcome to this unique, virtual Lincolnshire Day… ONLINE!

One of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society’s education events is the ‘Lincolnshire Day School event’. Established in 2017, it’s open to all Primary schools from across Greater Lincolnshire, to celebrate our wonderful county. In a normal year, hundreds of students visit the Lincolnshire Showground and take part in a carefully timetabled day, working in small groups across a selection of unique hands-on learning experiences and workshops led by Lincolnshire businesses and organisations and all related to Lincolnshire’s food, farming, aviation, heritage and sport.

As a result of the COVID-19 situation, plans for this year’s Lincolnshire Day event look very different. We were determined to continue celebrating our fantastic county and provide learning opportunities for the school community, and so made the decision to hold the Lincolnshire Day school event online this year. Feel free to browse the site under our 6 Lincolnshire Day categories. From cookery demonstrations, on the farm footage to Lincolnshire’s rich heritage, there’s a little something for everyone.
